Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Torrance, CA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• You will perform magnetic particle inspection, penetrant inspection, and additional inspection operations on all client hardware as needed.
• Work is performed in accordance with client Engineering Procedures (EPs), military and customer specifications, operation sheets, and standard work instructions.
• You will be responsible for the process, detection of indications, acceptance of parts, and verification of control procedures on a daily basis.
• Conduct Magnetic Particle and Penetrant Inspection MP/PI on client hardware in accordance with all applicable work instructions, specifications, and engineering requirements.
• Evaluate product conformance, in collaboration with NDT Level III, and generate non-conformance reports as needed.
• Interface with representatives from Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Engineering on a regular basis to advise on methods, standards, and techniques for specific inspections relative to specification guidelines.
• Process, develop, and approve NDT technique sheets for product acceptance.
• Interface with internal and external auditors, as well as customer representatives, during special process, operator, and AS9100 audits
• Conduct weekly MP/PI system tests to ensure equipment compliance.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing and quality requirements (AS9100, NADCAP, NAS410, etc.)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Liquid Penetrant Inspection
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Magnetic Particle Inspection

• Associate's Degree.
• Possess a Level 2 NDT certification on Magnetic Particle and Penetrant Inspection.
• Ability to interface with internal and external personnel and communicate effectively with other disciplines to ensure timely decisions in an effort to prevent nonconforming product.
• Ability to evaluate NDT techniques on Assembly & Test worksheets and operation sheets as necessary.
• Be able to create and maintain test data.
