Job Summary Performs overall General Ledger account reconciliation. Enforces adherence to School Board policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Essential Functions 1. Processes, posts, and balances data received from Payroll Department 9. Assists management and coworkers with issues related to General Ledger account reconciliation. 11. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Business Education, from an accredited college or university (with an emphasis in the areas of accounting, risk management, or insurance). Experience: Experience and training in account reconciliation and auditing procedures related to an insurance program; workers' compensation preferred. Experience in public schools and/or government administration preferred. Certifications & Licenses: NA Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Extensive knowledge of payroll expense and liability accounting practices, principles, and policies |
