Your Role

The New Product team invents and develops new products and services to improve health care for Blue Shield's members. The Administrative Assistant, Specialist will report to the Senior Director, New Product. In this role you will be responsible for managing the calendar of two Senior Directors within the Product Strategy department as well as assist in calendaring events when needed for two additional Directors. The Administrative Assistant, Specialist will also plan and coordinate departmental events and travel for the Senior Directors. This position is based at our Oakland Office.

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED
  • Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience
  • Requires knowledge of core business applications Microsoft Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Concur
  • Requires experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Requires experience working with Executive Assistants supporting SVP and EVP level executives
  • Requires experience planning and coordinating events and travel
