This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities:

The Product Market Manager - OEM, Industrial Automation Products plays a critical role in supporting the sales organization by driving sales of drive products within the OEM business segment in the US market. This individual is responsible for implementing global product marketing strategies tailored to the unique needs of OEMs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

In this role, the manager will build and maintain key relationships with the OEM sales team and customers to deeply understand the requirements of OEMs in strategic markets within the Motion Business Area. With a strong emphasis on industrial automation, this role demands experience with PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs. The Product Market Manager will work across functions, engaging directly with sales teams and OEM customers to identify where to play & how to win, ensuring the successful execution of the U.S. go-to-market strategy for the drive, PLC, HMI, and Digital products portfolio.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid. #LI-Hybrid.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Own the technical specification for products.
  • Lead OEM product life cycle management.
  • Act as technical interface between external local market and internal technical cross functional teams.
  • Support the sales in the local market by providing product and technical support to sales teams including trainings and key customer pursuits
  • Create demand through technical promotion, providing solutions and a value base selling approach with expert level knowledge of products and competitors offerings.
  • Understands customer needs in the OEM market by building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Prepares business plans focused on business development for a defined market and implements Division market pricing policy.
  • Continuously monitor competitive offerings, evaluating competing technologies and pricing strategies.
  • Drive the development of the features based on customer value and relevance to the market.
  • Work with Local Product Management, Global Product Market Management, and marketing to define the market communication strategy, including product launch planning and implementation.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years of work experience in a complex global business environment, associate degree and 10 years of work experience in a complex global business environment or High School diploma with 12 years of experience required.
  • Proven expertise in the application and integration of PLCs and HMIs.
  • Advanced Technical Knowledge of PLCs and HMIs.
  • Progressive experience in product management and customer relationship management required.
  • Proven track record of cross functional collaboration, excellent stakeholder engagement and strategic mindset and passion to drive business results required.
  • Travel up to 10%.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English required.
