In this role, you'll answer telephone inquiries from in house guests in a friendly and courteous manner and direct calls to the appropriate departments in order to meet guest needs and high standards of quality.

Essential Job Functions:

* Answer the incoming calls of all in-house guests in a friendly and timely manner.
* Check wakeup call requests and set them up in the switchboard if needed
* Answer all outgoing and incoming calls within three rings
* Check stationary supplies and make requests to FOM as needed
* Assist Front Desk team during peak check-in and out times, as well as provide coverage for Front Desk Agent breaks
* Update guest profiles
* Send and reply to guest welcome text messages
* Check the Front Desk Email and forward inquires to the respective departments
* Read the Communication Log and Daily Ops every day to stay abreast of updates from previous shifts.
* Enter work orders into COBA for maintenance requests
* Ensure the efficient handling of all interdepartmental and guest messages
* Assist the reservations team with creating leads based on incoming calls.
* Other duties as assigned.

Wage: $16.00/hr

Physical Demands:
* Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 10 lbs
* Primarily sedentary role, may involve standing and walking for short periods of time

Qualifications:
Education:
* High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience:
* Prior hospitality experience preferred
* Full understanding and comfort working on a computer with MS Suite-Outlook, Word, Excel
* Previous experience with hotel PMS systems a plus. Examples: OPERA, OnQ
