As our new Due Diligence and Environmental Compliance Consultant, you will be working closely with Project Managers and other Consultants on a variety of environmental investigation/remediation, environmental compliance, health and safety, sustainability, and due diligence projects within our broad Environment and Health practice. This is an excellent career opportunity to work with an expert consulting team on challenging environmental projects for industrial, financial sector, commercial, and global clients. Qualifications

Your starting point for constant growth

  • BS or MS (or similar) in Environmental, Chemical, Geological or other related Engineering or Environmental Science
  • 0-5years of relevant work experience specifically in conducting environmental due diligence assessments (e.g., Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Limited Environmental Compliance Reviews, desktop due diligence reviews) and/or environmental compliance assistance
  • Interest in remaining in the position for at least two to three years with opportunity for advancement
  • Interest specifically in environmental due diligence and/or environmental compliance.
  • Strong technical skills and experience writing technical reports.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include the following abilities:

  • Strong work ethic and passion for producing high quality work and continual improvement.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to drive or otherwise travel up to approximately 20% of the time (must have a driver's license).
  • Flexibility in handling multiple projects at the same time and ability to meet shifting deadlines.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental due diligence for industrial and commercial transactions, including standard Phase I Environmental Site Assessments consistent with ASTM standards and custom reports tailored to client-specific needs.
  • Conduct limited environmental compliance reviews for industrial facilities, primarily (but not exclusively) in California.
  • Prepare concise reports that assess potential environmental liabilities and compliance at manufacturing facilities.
  • Provide general environmental compliance support to clients across a variety of regulatory program areas including hazardous waste, wastewater/stormwaterdischarges, air emissions, chemical/spill prevention, and community right-to-know regulations.
  • Travel to facilities for site visits, including both local and non-local travel
  • Support multipleprojects and meet high quality standards on project deliverables.

Salary Transparency Statement

At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annualbase salary between $75,000 and $83,000. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, includingexperience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training andskill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits
