JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Industrial Hygiene Program Manager works with the Environmental Health and Safety team to ensure a safe environment and compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, directives, and recommendations. The Industrial Hygiene Program Manager conducts environmental monitoring and responds to both emergency and non-emergency calls with environmental and occupational health concerns. Prepares written industrial hygiene and safety reports, correspondence and communication.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's Degree, or higher in Environmental Health Science, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Engineering or related fields.

Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or another professional safety credential highly recommended.

Asbestos Inspector license required from Vermont Department of Health, or able to obtain within 6 months of hire.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 5 years of prior safety program experience. Experience and oversight in the healthcare industry is highly recommended.
