ABOUT THE ROLE Are you detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about making benefits work for people? We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment, loves working in systems like Ease, and takes pride in executing flawless open enrollment cycles. The Client Benefits Specialist supports the Employee Benefits service team with hands-on execution and client service. This is a tactical, administrative role focused on benefit plan operations, open enrollment logistics, client communication, and system support. You will play a key role in ensuring timely, accurate service delivery for our clients, while gaining exposure to cross-functional projects and long-term career growth opportunities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES *Handle daily administrative tasks related to benefits: enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee inquiries *Collaborate with Account Representatives, Managers, and Executives to fulfill client-facing document requests *Prepare and distribute Annual Legal Notices and open enrollment materials *Build and maintain open enrollment presentations (Excel) and support benefits webinars *Order and verify materials and supplies from carriers *Update client renewal data in the internal AMS tracking system *Build and maintain enrollment portals in Ease and Employee Navigator; resolve alerts and discrepancies *Take ownership of benefit administration platforms as the primary liaison for system configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance *Coordinate printing and shipping of communication materials *Work with marketing to design and deliver client-facing benefit guides *Request, track, and file benefit documentation (SBCs, EOCs, COCs) *Initiate plan renewal requests from carriers and retrieve documentation as needed *Support implementation of new plans, carriers, or vendors-including project tracking and system setup *Conduct audits and payroll reconciliations *Participate in cross-functional projects related to open enrollment, client onboarding, and system enhancements *Perform additional duties and projects as assigned QUALIFICATIONS *Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred *Minimum 2 years of experience in employee benefits or insurance *Experience using enrollment platforms like Ease or Employee Navigator *Strong written communication skills and high attention to detail *Excellent organizational and customer service skills *Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel *Active Life & Health License preferred or required within 90 days of hire *Must be proactive, team-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in employee benefits or insurance Experience using enrollment platforms like Ease or Employee Navigator Strong written communication skills and high attention to detail Excellent organizational and customer service skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Active Life & Health License preferred or required within 90 days of hire Must be proactive, team-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
