Job Description:

The Workforce Planning Analyst is responsible for the success of Recruiters and Hiring Teams, by collaborating with various partners to create job requisitions to help streamline the Workday recruiting process and ensuring we facilitate moves and transactions that align to sound position management philosophies. This Team also performs analytics on internal supply and demand, low span Leader analysis, change in labor cost, hiring and pacing, and Leadership level authorized tracking. The Workforce Planning Analyst is a resourceful problem solver, who is ready to drive the future of Southwest.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide support to TA as they proactively address resourcing requirements of people data throughout Workday for requisitions
    • Partner with our internal sourcing team as it relates to number of requisition needed for recruiting and track future recruiting needs through Workday
    • Partner with TA to develop and improve TA hire projections
    • Utilize knowledge of Workday to produce necessary data as requested to support business analysis
    • Perform user acceptance in Workday through testing, monitoring, and analysis
    • Reconcile authorized headcount with the HRBP and create processes to ensure accurate
    • Responsible for data governance of Workday data to ensure accuracy, consistencies, and maintaining consistent validation checks to ensure the integrity of human resource-related information
    • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing Customer and personal services
  • Expert knowledge of analytical skills
  • Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Skilled in considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
  • Ability to meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company information
  • Ability to tell or recognize when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong
  • Ability to stay organized and deliver high quality work, paying close attention to details under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to initiate tasks, perform duties, respond to inquiries, and think independently without direction or supervision
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent interruptions and time constraints

Education

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • Preferred: Experience in Tableau, Workday and Adaptive
  • Preferred: Intermediate Position Management Experience
  • Intermediate level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in:
    • Workday or Talent Acquisition or HRIS

Licensing/Certification

  • N/A

Physical Abilities

  • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

Other Qualifications

  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive market salary from $78,850 per year to $87,600 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
