POSITION SUMMARY:
Under direction of Information Systems management, provides support for server operating systems, including installation, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting. Focus on Citrix support including Citrix Virtual Apps, Storefront, Citrix AppLayering, FSLogix and Netscaler. Coordinates technical project plans, including implementation schedules and resource estimates, for projects. Provides support for computer system operations. Provides support for technicians and other staff, including the handling of more advanced troubleshooting and analysis. EDUCATION: Bachelor,s degree in computer science or equivalent field of study, or relevant equivalent work-related education/experience. EXPERIENCE: Four to six yearsAaa experience with: server and desktop operating systems, server local and wide area networks, database management systems. Experience as a Citrix engineer/architect with responsibilities including roadmap design, assessments, architecture, planning, implementation, and upgrades/migrations of Citrix solutions. Experience with thin client devices such as Dell Wyse, iGel and Chromebook. Possess a detailed understanding of architectural dependencies of Citrix technologies. Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows Server (2016 and 2019), Windows Active Directory, and Windows Powershell. Must be knowledgeable and have exposure to O365, cloud hybrid environments, endpoint security products, Cisco Blade Servers, Pure Storage, and VMware vSphere. Working knowledge of hospital operations preferred. *Preferred Technical Certifications: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Citrix Certified Professional or Citrix Certified Expert (Virtualization, Networking or Mobility) SPECIAL SKILLS: Skill in time management, organizing resources and establishing priorities. Advanced verbal and written communication skills. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. Group facilitation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills. Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures. Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment. Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions. Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools. Ability to analyze comprehensive business processes, perform in-depth work analyses, and develop computer-generated flow charts. Ability to develop project budges and projections.
