The Assistant Director of Programs will play a pivotal role in advancing TRI's mission by creating, developing, managing, and overseeing innovative research programs. This position requires a proactive leader capable of working independently to implement and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with TRI's strategic goals. The Assistant Director will also serve as an extender to the TRI Director of Research Programs and Executive Director, contributing to the development and management of new initiatives.The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is Arkansas' only academic health center, combining education, research, and clinical excellence to improve health outcomes statewide. The Translational Research Institute (TRI), funded by the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) through the Clinical and Translational Sciences Award (CTSA) program, supports clinical and translational research across UAMS, Arkansas Children's Hospital (ACH), Arkansas Children's Research Institute (ACRI), and the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS).
