Staffmark is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator Assistant for a well-established and growing steel manufacturer in Atkins, AR. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential for advancement. Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

What You'll Do Each Day

• Assist with the operation of the Trim Break machine
• Interpret blueprints and convert fractional measurements into decimals
• Cut and bend steel components with precision to meet production specs
• Ensure high attention to detail and accuracy during setup and output
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to maintain efficient workflow
• Contribute to additional production tasks as needed

• At least 1 year of machine operation or related manufacturing experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and math skills for measurement conversions
• Solid work ethic and stable work history

• Team player with strong communication skills
