Machine Operator Wanted - Precision, Power & Pills!

Are you an experienced machine operator ready to blend your mechanical skills with the fast-paced world of health supplements? Staffmark is hiring for a Machine Operator in Chatsworth, CA, to support a well-established wellness manufacturing company that's serious about innovation, quality, and longevity. If you've got the hands-on expertise and the drive to keep production lines running like clockwork, this is your moment!

Hours & Pay

Pay Range: $21.00-$22.00/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM, with Saturdays/overtime as needed

Training: Must be available for initial training on a different shift

Employment Type: Temp-to-hire (90 days)

What You'll Do



  • Set up and start up machines for product changeovers, using checklists and inspection standards
  • Operate and troubleshoot machines including fillers, blenders, encapsulators, tablet presses, conveyors, and palletizers
  • Assist with machine maintenance, minor repairs, and cleaning during and after operation
  • Use hand and power tools for equipment adjustments and preventative maintenance
  • Perform visual and physical quality checks during production
  • Execute manual production duties such as packing, loading machines, and box assembly
  • Maintain detailed records in Redzone and batch production documentation
  • Adhere to safety protocols and wear proper PPE at all times
  • Participate in sanitation, facility maintenance, and 5S activities
  • Remain flexible to support washroom procedures and learn new processes as needed

What You Bring



  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (health supplements, pills, powders highly preferred)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with automated and manual production equipment
  • Familiarity with cGMP, safety protocols, and compliance documentation
  • A team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to adapt to changing schedules and tasks
