Hours & Pay

Pay: $18.00-$20.00+/hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

What You'll Be Doing

• Set up, operate, and maintain advanced laser cutting machines, including the Amada 9K ENSIS 4020 Fiber Optic Laser
• Read and interpret blueprints, DXF files, and technical drawings to configure cutting parameters
• Load and unload materials and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal laser alignment and performance
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
• Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers
• Document production activities, and material usage, and report equipment issues as needed
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and support process improvements
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, efficient workspace

What You Need to Succeed

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in CNC or laser tech a plus
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment (Amada or Trumpf preferred)
• Familiarity with laser cutting of various metals, including aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel
• Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
• Knowledge of OSHA and ISO safety standards
• Forklift experience or willingness to train is a plus
