Are you passionate about driving innovation and shaping the future of financial services through strategic partnerships? WSECU's investment arm, OWF, is looking for an Innovation Product Manager to lead the evaluation, validation, and successful integration of cutting-edge FinTech partnerships. In this hybrid role, you'll blend product and project management with relationship building to support innovation initiatives from early-stage pilots to full-scale implementation.

You'll serve as a key liaison between OWF and internal WSECU stakeholders, ensuring alignment and execution across teams as new technologies and solutions are tested and rolled out. From conducting due diligence to tracking post-investment performance, you'll play a critical role in identifying opportunities, coordinating execution, and driving measurable results. What your day may include:

  • Conducting due diligence activities, including research, data analysis, market validation, and operational reviews of prospective CUSO partners
  • Assisting in preparing innovative review memos and presentations for internal committees
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestones of innovation partners
  • Supporting reporting processes, generating insights and updates for internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinating the design, launch, and management of pilot programs, proofing of concept, and product rollouts between CUSO partners and credit union teams
  • Managing project timelines, milestones, and stakeholder alignment to ensure projects stay on track
  • Identifying and mitigating risks or barriers to implementation and adoption within the credit union
  • Serving as the primary point of contact between CUSO startups and WSECU's functional units, including Technology, Member Experience, Risk, and Compliance
  • Translating startup capabilities and offerings into actionable business opportunities that align with internal needs and priorities
  • Facilitating collaboration, surfacing organizational feedback, and championing shared goals
  • Analyzing pilot results and implementation outcomes to generate insights and informing go-forward recommendations
  • Developing clear documentation of findings, learnings, and business cases for scale-up decisions
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of the innovation-to-implementation lifecycle and operating model

What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics or related field required
  • Minimum of five (5) or more years in product management, innovation, strategy consulting, or related roles
  • Strong proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Miro, Notion)

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working in or with fintech startups strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with credit union or financial services operations, and specifically with credit union service organizations (CUSOs)

Competitive pay: $96,650.70 - $141,192.10 annually, dependent on relevant qualifications, plus an annual discretionary incentive plan and benefits package

  • The target starting pay for this position is $96,650.70 - $120,813.37 annually, typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant's pay history into account.
  • The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase during their tenure in the position.

Position location: 330 Union Ave, Olympia WA. Employee must reside and perform all work in the state of Washington. This is a hybrid position that blends working in-office and from home. Works onsite at least one (1) or two (2) days per week.

Working from home/hybrid requirements:

  • Reliable, high-speed home internet connection
  • Private, confidential workspace, away from distractions and other people
  • Suitable desk/surface and desk chair

When you'd work: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30pm, full time minimum 40 hours per week with scheduling flexibility to meet service needs this Exempt position
