Summary
Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and helping prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and other related disorders. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions -Provide guidance and mentorship to junior speech pathologists and other healthcare professionals. -Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders in patients. -Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results. -Provide therapy to patients with various communication and swallowing disorders. -Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. -Communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and treatment plans. -Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
