MasterCam/ Surfcam - CNC Programmer/Operator act

Job description

We are looking for at least 2 years' experience in MasterCam/ SurfCam (or equivalent) CNC Programmer/Operator. We offer many benefits with starting pay between $20-$40.00 hr.

We also would be interested in a young gun out of school that is trainable.

Function:

Provides creative machining solutions to projects having a higher-than-average degree of complexity for which few precedents exist. Contributes to the success and profitability of the business with innovative production solutions that consistently meet or exceed expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the completion of machining projects as assigned by the project manager.

Communicate effectively with management and staff.

Can utilize multiple controls.

Run multiple CNC machines while prioritizing job flow.

Have the capability to machine all materials.

Utilize SurfCam for 2D and 3D programming.

Evaluate a machining problem and determine a direction/process to solve that problem.

Maintain tools, machinery, and miscellaneous equipment.

Ideal candidate

Mature, honest, inquisitive, curious and a creative thinker, smart, energetic, meticulous and must have a great attention to detail. A self-starter who is goal oriented and excited by working in a team environment that is always focused on continuous improvement and achieving high levels of productivity.

Minimum Experience Required:

2 years CNC programming with MasterCam, SurfCam, or equivalent.
