Job Objective:

Territorial Program Specialist supports the Territorial Secretary for Program to ensure that key program planning and coordination are fully supported, executed and mission driven.

Essential Functions:




  • Work with the field, Territorial Executive Council, and Section Administrative Assistant to ensure that the Territorial Calendar is complete, up to date, and meets approved channels
  • Support the Section Head as the staff lead in the coordination, planning and execution of the Central Bible Leadership Institute
  • Serve as the Program Section main point of contact for the programming creation and organization of Congress Commissioning weekend, Cadets' Welcome, Ignite Weekend and other major territorial events as assigned.
  • Serve as the Program Section liaison in assisting and supporting with the programming planning and details of Territorial events pertaining to each department within the section i.e. Central Music Institute, Women's Conferences, Resonate, Regeneration, Men's Conference, Kroc Summits, One Conferences, Justice Week, etc.
  • Responsible for the management of all special program timelines and deadlines
  • Work with Section Administrative Assistant to ensure approvals and vetting of all territorial events participants are completed through the proper channels
  • Editor of main Territorial Program Meeting outlines and talking point content creator for Leadership participants
  • Responsible for the management and implementation of the Corps Management System (CMS) in the Territory.
  • Work with Territorial Statistician in the continued roll out to the field and usage of the any statistical system ensuring that the Corps Management System (CMS) software are linked for field usage and reporting.
  • Support the Divisional Secretaries for Program by providing resources, answering questions, troubleshooting, etc., as needed.
  • Serve the field as the department subject expert for program systems roll out, training, and implementation pertaining to area of oversight, i.e. Corps' Management System, Calendar Software, Event Management, etc.



Minimum Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.

Education & Certification:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field preferred.

Experience:

Three years of experience in non-profit program related activities

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Experience in church programming events, production planning, and special meetings coordination. Knowledge of Turbo Stats and Corps Management Systems or equivalent, i.e. statistics, church programming, and recreation softwares. Aptitude for quick learning, effective communication, and training others in program management systems and softwares. Self-starter who is able to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Must be organized, detail oriented, flexible and resourceful. Ability to speak, read, and write English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, employees, beneficiaries and customers; and to perform the requirements of this job.

Travel:

Travel required to various conferences. 10% of the time primarily within the eleven state Central Territory
