Essential Functions
-Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and develop comprehensive training programs aligned with the organization's goals and regulatory requirements.

-Conduct needs assessments, analyze training gaps, and design learning objectives and outcomes for in-service training sessions.

-Develop training materials, including presentations, handouts, e-learning modules, and multimedia resources, using instructional design principles and adult learning techniques.

-Incorporate innovative training methods and technologies to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials

  • CRCST: Certified Registered Central Service Technician or CBSPD: Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
  • CER: Certified Endoscope Reprocessor/CFER: Certification for Flexible Endoscope Reprocessors or CIS: Certified Instrument Specialist/CSIS: Certification for Surgical Instrument Specialists

Experience
Previous experience in designing and delivering training programs for healthcare professionals, preferably in a CPD or professional development capacity. 3-5 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills needed to maintain constructive working relationships within and outside of department.
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Program planning and organizational skills to effectively manage work and educational data collection.
- Customer service skills are required to effectively meet the needs of the staff and in building departmental and external relationships.
- Basic computer skills required to communicate electronically and to work with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
