Summary
To assist Engineers, Project Managers, and Principal Investigators in a research laboratory. Primary responsibilities are to assist in experiments, cleaning glassware, and disinfecting equipment, under the supervision of the project head and the PI of the laboratory.

Essential Functions
-Prepares basic solutions and performs base-level procedures as assigned.

-Decontaminates/sterilizes glassware and other apparatuses by autoclaving.

-Conducts analysis of results, and may begin interpretation of results.

-Prepares lab reagents, chemicals, instruments, and equipment.

-May assist with organizing materials for publication or presentation.

-Ensures the cleanliness of washing machines, ovens, autoclaves and work area.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Previous Research Lab Experience 0-1 year preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Good interpersonal/communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Working knowledge of clinical Protocols.
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks with some direction.
