Job Summary
Auburn University Athletics is recruiting for a Design and Communications Specialist to join our Tigers Unlimited team! The Tigers Unlimited Foundation is committed to advancing Auburn Athletics to be the best school for the best athletes in the nation.
This position plays a key role in supporting the Foundation's mission by developing and executing high-quality visual and written content across various platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in graphic design, digital communications, and major gift proposals, with a passion for collegiate athletics and donor engagement.
Essential Functions

  • Design and produce print and digital materials, including brochures, newsletters, social media graphics, email campaigns, and proposals.
  • Assist with the visual design and layout of the Tiger Roar magazine to ensure cohesive and engaging experience for readers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and maintain consistent branding and messaging across all Tigers Unlimited and Auburn Athletics communications.
  • Manage content creation and scheduling for Tigers Unlimited's social media channels.
  • Assist in the development and execution of communication strategies to engage donors, alumni, and stakeholders.
  • Support event promotion and coverage through visual and written content.
  • Maintain and update website content in coordination with the digital team.
  • Track and analyze communication metrics to inform future strategies.
  • Complies with all applicable NCAA and SEC regulations when performing job duties.
  • May perform other job-related duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing best practices.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Eloqua, Constant Contact).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Photography and/or video editing skills.
