Accounting Manager - High-Growth PE-Backed Services Firm A fast-growing, PE-backed services firm is seeking an Accounting Manager to scale a modern, efficient finance function. This national, multi-site operator is focused on growth through acquisition and operational excellence. Why Join: Key leadership role during strategic transformation High-growth, dynamic PE-backed environment Opportunity to build best practices and drive efficiencies Strong executive support and collaborative team Key Responsibilities: Oversee monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and GAAP reporting Partner with FP&A and ops on budgeting and forecasting Manage areas like fixed/intangible assets, leases, and internal-use software Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls Mentor and develop accounting team Lead improvements in policies, controls, and processes Ideal Candidate: 5+ years in accounting/finance, 2+ years in leadership Strong GAAP knowledge and technical accounting expertise Hands-on with close processes and general ledger Experience in PE-backed or acquisitive environments preferred CPA preferred (or equivalent experience) Effective cross-functional communicator with strong business acumen B2B services or logistics industry experience a plus Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid - Onsite 2 days/week)Compensation: $115K-$125K +Bonus This is a high-impact leadership hire within a growing department.
