The Space and Intelligence (S&I) Division provides engineering services and analytic support to the Air Force, Space Force, Combatant Commands, the Intelligence Community, and NASA. Our work includes systems engineering and integration, test planning and execution, cost estimating and analysis, developing approaches and concepts to meet emerging, high priority National Defense needs, and assessing and developing cutting-edge computer-based solutions, advanced technologies and progressive capabilities to meet those needs. The S&I Division comprises the Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), the Space Systems Group (SSG), and the Strategic Technology Analysis Group (STAG), which collectively provide outstanding support to help their customers achieve our nation's most critical objectives and goals designed to protect the safety and livelihoods of all U.S. Citizens, military forces at home and abroad. S&I Division's SSG has a near-term need for highly qualified Subject Matter Expert (SME) Contract Specialists to support our U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SDA&CP) and Battle Management Command, Control and Communications (BMC3) Support Services contract (Hemisphere) in the Huntsville, AL area. Responsibilities SME-Level Contract Specialists assist Program Office leadership performing requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability, and analysis. Will work with program and project managers to support the design, development, and instantiation of space systems and advanced system capabilities. Successful candidates we seek for this important opportunity will help enable advanced capabilities and proactive protective understanding of how space-based assets and programs operate, interact, and serve our highest priority national defense. Key duties associated with this position include but are not limited to the following:
Design, develop, and lead all aspects of any contract action required by the program office, including but not limited to procurements, negotiations, close-outs, Sources Sought Notifications (SSNs), Requests for Information (RFIs), Source Selections, solicitations, change proposals, funding modifications, and award or incentive fee management.
