Your impact as an Account Specialist

As an Account Specialist II your job is to work closely with our team of colleagues to ensure outstanding client service and risk consulting. Assisting Account Executives, leading key processes that serve clients and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related to these processes is a large part of the role. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail are a plus in the position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains effective and productive relationships with clients. Serves independently in a client-facing capacity on matters of moderate importance and complexity.
  • Facilitates the timely and accurate flow of information between clients, AE and Broker account team members.
  • Follow up for binders, policies and endorsements.
  • Where applicable, serves as the primary interface with Aon Client Services (ACS), coordinating activities of the client service team and ACS to ensure that key processes assigned are performed effectively and quality of client deliverables.
  • Receives and manages routine and complex coverage inquiries and endorsement requests.
  • Serves as key client liaison for items such as certificates, auto IDs, location additions, invoices, WC posting notices, ad-hoc endorsement requests, allocations, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance, and policy transmittals.
  • Ensures operational excellence, including adherence to service management requirements.
  • Collaborate with brokerage teams, ACS and Accounting Team (PASC) to help resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Undertake various duties as assigned including completing special client projects.
  • Help colleagues & clients troubleshoot and resolve basic certificate of insurance, invoicing, policy issuance issues.
  • Complete schedules of insurance, program graphic, open items, renewal strategy and proposal documentation for clients within service standards timeframe. Electronically store all pertinent client data and correspondence in the shared drive.
  • Adheres to service management requirements (Aon Compliance requirements, Client Service Standards, etc.). Monitors and follows-up for prompt invoice generation, fee agreements, receivables, allocations, addressing Notices of Cancellations and collections.
  • Actively supports and monitors the renewal process and coordinates the assembly of the Renewal Strategy and Renewal Proposal with the Account Executives and Brokers.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • 2+ years of previous commercial insurance experience preferred
  • Property and casualty brokers license preferred or to be obtained within 120 days of start date

Education: Associate's degree preferred or equivalent years of industry experience.

Pay Transparency Laws

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $65,000-85,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
