Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Sr. Training and Development Specialist to lead enterprise-wide learning initiatives that enhance individual, team, and organizational performance. This role will act as an individual contributor that may also lead cross-functional projects. The Sr. Specialist will focus on designing and executing customized, scalable programs that promote growth, readiness, and agility, ensuring our workforce remains competitive in an evolving business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Learning and Development Strategy:

Align training initiatives with business needs, performance goals, and long-term employee development. Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and adaptability.

* Program Design and Facilitation: Design, implement, facilitate, and manage training programs for leadership and soft skills development. Tailor programs to meet the needs of diverse teams and roles within the organization. Use a variety of delivery methods, including workshops, e-learning, blended learning, and coaching. Ensure programs are scalable, aligned with future needs, and compliant with industry standards.

* Career Development: Lead efforts to create and manage career maps across all departments. Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify content for career maps. Create and manage end-user product. Track progress and identify development opportunities for users.

* Training Needs Assessment and Gap Analysis

Conduct thorough training needs assessments in collaboration with stakeholders. Analyze employee performance, skills, and knowledge gaps to recommend targeted interventions. Prioritize areas of focus to address key organizational challenges.

* Collaboration with Stakeholders:

Partner with HR, department leaders, and senior management to ensure alignment of training with organizational priorities. Act as a consultant for managers to address team-specific development needs.

* Innovation and Learning Technology: Leverage and stay informed on modern learning technologies such as AI, LMS, VR, gamification, microlearning, and e-learning course development (e.g., Articulate). Integrate innovative tools and methods to enhance learner engagement. Manage LMS administration and incorporate LMS data with learning development.

* Program Evaluation and Impact Measurement:

Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs. Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve training initiatives. Report on training ROI and impact on organizational performance.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

* 5-7 years of relevant experience in training and development.

* Strong course creation and facilitation skills.

* Demonstrated success in leading strategic learning initiatives.

* Proficient in learning technologies and instructional design.

* Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

For informational purposes only, the range for annual base salary for this role is $96000 to $125000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Executive Bonus Plan, paid out up to 10% of the applicable annual base salary, based on the Company's performance in the prior calendar year. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
