Key Responsibilities:

* Provide 24/7 operational and clinical leadership for the CVOR, overseeing nursing practice, patient care quality, staffing, and budget management.

* Foster a collaborative environment that supports innovation, professional development, and shared governance.

* Ensure excellence in surgical care delivery while driving performance improvement initiatives.

* Serve as a strategic partner to physician leaders, perioperative services, and hospital administration.

* Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing nursing team committed to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing or healthcare-related field preferred.

* CVOR nursing experience is required.

* Previous nursing leadership or management experience is strongly preferred.

* Active RN licensure in the District of Columbia.

* Specialty certification in nursing or administration required within 2 years of hire.

This position has a hiring range of $118,331.20 - $218,171.20
