Perform engineering duties for the planning and construction of complex concrete structures for the transportation, water treatment & supply, commercial, industrial, multi-family residential and power industries throughout the U.S. Generate and obtain approvals of monthly billing and earned values. Develop and manage the project schedule using Primavera. Analyze targets and goals, job cost summaries, and other reports. Alert the Superintendent and Project Manager of project impact relating to resource management and crew make-up/size. Generate and obtain approval of the initial budget and subsequent updates. Review weekly job cost summaries and advise the Project Manager. Generate estimates of change orders and interface with pre-construction on original bids. Collaborate with pre-construction and the project team to manage the job transition process, communicate project requirements, and develop the initial procurement plans and budgets. Generate material quantity take-offs, scoping documents, terms and conditions, and delivery. Generate requests for proposals, solicit and review quotations, and recommend a procurement decision to Project Manager. Prepare field purchase orders for standard purchase packages. Generate and obtain approval of major purchase orders. Gather and rough-in monthly financial reports. Participate in the project financial reviews. Work with the Project Manager to approve and code project invoices. Generate and obtain approval of technical records such as constructability reports, RFI's, inspection records, work packages and deviation reports. Manage the submittal process on the project. Coordinate with the Superintendent, Field Project Engineer, and Line and Grade to generate required as-built records. Manage work package closure, punch lists, and project turnover process. Approve pre- and post-pour checklists. Collect necessary documentation to identify and determine impact of potential contract changes, disputes, and claims. Lead LEAN/SQP committee and identify improvement opportunities. Ensure all subcontractors are in compliance with terms of subcontracts. Generate and obtain approval on impact notices as needed. Review and confirm reports documenting compliance (company and subcontractors) with prevailing wage, workforce utilization, and MBE/SBE participation, and advise the Project Manager of issues. Interface with Safety and Risk Management in establishing clinics, managing first report of injuries, and assisting with co-worker case management. Ensure site access guidelines are followed. Coordinate tracking and completion of training requirements with project management. Collaborate and coordinate with IT to ensure the equipment needs are defined and met. Requirements
