Department:ICE \| CORE Performance Improvement IOP NC Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties:The Performance Improvement Analyst facilitates, trains, and coaches individuals in applying performance improvement (PI) philosophies and practices to their daily work. This individual designs, directs, and conducts cross-functional, institutionally strategic healthcare projects that optimize quality and safety, lead in value creation for patients, staff, and population health, enhance patient experience, improve financial performance, improve diversity and inclusion, and develop employees. The Performance Improvement Analyst works under the supervision of the Chief Quality Officer and in collaboration with other Performance Improvement Analysts, faculty, trainees, operational leaders, and staff. The Performance Improvement Analyst will interact constantly with UAMS ICE faculty, administration, staff, and trainees. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Baccalaureate Degree, Industrial Engineering, Nursing, Health Administration, Quality Improvement, or other equivalent education. 4 years of experience in applying continuous improvement methodologies such as PDSA, lean, six sigma, project management, and/or rapid cycle improvement in the work setting.
