Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Windchill Administrator to join our team in Brook Park, Ohio in support of the NASA Glenn Engineering and Research Support (GEARS) Contract team supporting a research and engineering application support infrastructure. CAD and PLM solutions and IT strategic planning are just two of the services provided to the NASA community and the Peraton contract station.

The selected candidate will work in a dynamic, team-based support environment as a member of our team to provide installation, configuration, integration and troubleshooting of research and engineering applications throughout the NASA Glenn Research Center. The selected individual will manage the Windchill environment and participate in Digital Transformation strategies and implementation.

Responsibilities of the position:

    Reports to and receives direction from Peraton Task Lead.
  • Provides PTC Windchill Administration for the organizations PLM environment consisting of Windchill, Thingworx, Navigate, Ping Federate/EntraID, Code Beamer, VueForia, Tetra4D, Wincom, Windchill Integrations, and CAD and Office Workers.
  • Working knowledge of database installation and configuration, Oracle, MSSQL.
  • Manages the setup and integration of 3rd Party applications into the Windchill environment.
  • Manage Change Management processes in Windchill solution.
  • Perform maintenance, patching and upgrades to the Windchlll environment.
  • Work will be completed on-site 5 days a week.
  • Participate in strategic planning, and execute Digital Engineering and Digital Transformation.
  • Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance windows.
  • Manage Windchill upgrades in-house on weekends as required.
  • Develop and present bi-monthly user sessions focusing on NASA Glenn's Windchill user needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve day to day issues by utilizing PTC Support tools.


Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in an engineering field computer science, information systems, or similar, and 2 years of experience, or an Associates degree in computer science, information systems, or similar, and 6 years of experience.
  • Expert knowledge with PTC Windchill and Business Admin roles.
  • Strong knowledge of PTC Windchill integrations.
  • Strong understanding of IT services and Cybersecurity (FISMA Controls)
  • Basic knowledge of network communications.

Ability to obtain a NASA PIV badge and pass the background check and drug screening.

Must be a US citizen

Desired Experience:

  • Ability to install and manage PTC ThingWorx and Thingworx Navigate.
  • Managing small number of customizations (Workflows, and Attributes).
  • Understanding of MFA for Windchill using ODIC and SAML.
  • Experience with install and management of PTC Code Beamer.
  • Ability to integrate other engineering applications (i.e. Ansys Granta, Windows Desktop Integration).
  • Basic knowledge of Creo and Solidworks.
  • Windchill Workgroup Managers experience with SolidWorks, Altium.
  • Knowledge of Syndeia and Minerva.

Target Salary Range

$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
