Position Summary

As Product Owner-HR Core, you will help guide the U.S. and Canada Markets in improving processes, products, and services through data analysis or product portfolio. You will straddle the line between IT and the business to help bridge the gap and improve efficiency with the Business Technology Platform and Employee Life Cycle. By engaging with business leaders, users, and IT, you will help teams understand how data-driven changes to processes and/or technology can improve efficiency and add value, balancing the needs of the business against what's technologically feasible and financially reasonable. As the point-of-contact in the U.S. and Canada Markets, you will assist teams with processes, on-going system configuration, process administration and reporting, system upgrades, and continuous process improvement. You will consult with process owners and IT to establish projects to implement new or enhanced processes. This role requires a blend of HR knowledge, product management skills, and a strong understanding of technology to ensure that HR products meet the needs of the organization and its employees.

  • Own the product governance for North America (U.S. and Canada)
  • Work closely with Functional Relationship Manager (FRM) Employee Lifecycle and the Human Resources stakeholders: Human Resources Operations Center of Competence (CoC) and Human Resources Employee Services Center of Scale (CoS)
  • With Human Resources Operations CoC and Human Services CoS, clarify business challenges, identify product (technology) needs and shape the demand contributing product roadmap for HR Core
  • Be an extension of Global Product Team for HR Core being the voice of the North America zone and markets to ensure the needs are understood and considered in the overall product (technology) strategy and as well in the monthly product backlog
  • Ensure maximal global product adoption and value realization at the market/zone level
  • Collaborate with other HR Core product owners / experts to design, deliver, and manage end-to-end lifecycle of new features, applications, and enhancements to existing ones
  • Support with the mid-year and year-end SAP and SF Releases
  • Support with sustain/keep-the-lights on requests from Human Resources Operations CoC and Human Resources CoS
  • Design new integration scenarios for consumption of HR master data
  • Troubleshoot / provide 3rd level support to address hard to solve technical integration issues
  • Act as liaison for business & technology partners which may include participation in design solution meetings
  • Present data-driven recommendations based on reporting & in-depth analysis that best meet business objectives.
  • Increase efficiencies and encourage a culture of continuous improvement for all stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • 3+ years of experience in HR Technology (SAP HR and SuccessFactors Employee Central)
  • 2+ years of SAP HR Techno-Functional experience in designing, building, and managing end-to-end lifecycle of SAP HR based custom integrations

Other

  • 1+ years of experience with PeopleDoc (or similar Employee Document management systems) preferred
  • 1+ years of experience with user research and UI/UX, agile delivery approachpreferred

The approximate pay range for this position is $144,000- $186,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
