The Materials Inventory Analyst assumes a pivotal role in presenting data-driven strategies and actions aimed at optimizing inventory efficiency, accuracy, and value for the platforms various Materials Organization. Acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and Materials support units, they facilitate alignment on process development and improvements. They also embrace emerging trends like BI and AI integration as well as best practices and methodologies to remain impactful within the evolving Materials realm.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, supply chain management, a related field or combination of experience and education required. 5+ years of experience in Materials Management and Inventory Analysts in a production environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, optical communication technologies, and Microsoft Office applications. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISON:
