Senior Manager, Sales Order Management Applications

Primary Duties & Responsibilities


  • Lead a team of IT professionals, manage vendor partners, and own delivery of key SAP sales order applications.



  • Serve as the primary technology contact for business leaders-building roadmaps, shaping strategy, and ensuring business alignment.



  • Oversee delivery of complex projects and programs, from intake through execution, while resolving escalations and managing risk.



  • Own relationships with business stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and Single Point of Contact for IT-related needs.



  • Drive operational excellence through application lifecycle planning, capacity forecasting, and performance coaching.



  • Stay ahead of the curve by anticipating trends, managing compliance, and helping the organization adapt in a changing environment.



Education and Experience Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT with a focus on SAP sales order management applications.
  • Preferred experience within the CPG industry
  • Deep understanding of sales order management processes, including Sales Order Management operations - end to end processes.
  • Experience in a manufacturing organization
  • Strong leadership skills, with a history of successfully managing IT teams and complex projects.
  • S/4 Hana experience required.
  • Product Life Cycle Management systems and / or processes is desired


Required Skills

  • Strong collaboration, teamwork and relationship building skills across multiple levels and functions
  • Able to direct and build high performing teams


  • Understanding of End-User perspective and how the system tool supports their processes
  • Understanding of integration points with various system tools
  • Able to produce solutions and validate ROI on proposed solutions by team members
  • Ability to travel 25%-50%
