Senior Quality Engineer - Ops

Reporting to the Quality Manager this position develops, maintains, and improves all aspects of G&W's quality program as it relates to production operations. This includes shop floor problem solving, vendor SCAR completion, the process FMEA, NCR's, Control Plans, and Supplier performance ratings. Individual will also help manage implementation of product, process, and equipment changes to existing G&W operations. Additionally, this position will develop Supplier & ISO auditing along with PPAP process skills for career growth.

Primary/Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform operational MRB walks and consolidate issue data
• Develop and implement cell standard work for existing, modified, and new manufactured products
• Perform problem solving to identify robust root causes and permanent corrective actions
• Communicate with engineering, suppliers, and operations status of issues, process improvements, or other activities as needed

• Conduct ISO 9001-based audits at suppliers and G&W locations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5-10 years' experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• High energy, hands on attitude

• Plant operations or issue resolution experience preferred
• PPAP, APQP, and FMEA experience
