The Manager, Channel Sales is responsible for overseeing the inside sales team, ensuring the achievement of salestargets, fostering strong customer relationships, and driving business growth. This role involves strategic planning,performance evaluation, and collaboration with internal teams to optimize sales processes and enhance customersa tisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of market dynamics,and the ability to implement effective sales strategies. Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve defined sales targets for both volume and revenue,aligning with organizational goals. * Foster strong relationships with key customers and distributors, ensuring long-term satisfaction andretention through effective communication and problem-solving. * Monitor and analyze market dynamics, including competitor activity and customer needs, to identify newbusiness opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly. * Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, maintain accurate customer records, and generate insightfulreports to inform decision-making. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery of products or services,enhancing overall customer experience. * Conduct regular performance evaluations and strategic planning sessions with the sales team, focusing oncontinuous improvement and growth. * Implement and monitor promotional programs and incentives, ensuring they effectively drive distributorengagement and performance. * Provide timely follow-ups on leads, quotes, and proposals, supporting the sales pipeline and ensuringalignment with company goals. * Contribute to process improvements by sharing feedback on customer interactions, sales tools, andmarket insights, driving innovation and efficiency. Required Education & Experience
Bachelors degree and 8 years of sales experience in the security/datacom/electrical industry OR a combination of education and no less than 10 years of outside sales experience in the security/datacom/electrical industry. Preferred Education & Experience
Bachelors degree preferred. 10 plus years outside sales experience in security/datacom/electrical industry preferred. Working Conditions
