Job Description

Are you passionate about creating memorable first impressions and fostering a welcoming environment for new team members? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Regional Onboarding Experience Lead to own the delivery of onboarding in their region. In this pivotal role, you will ensure new hires receive a warm welcome and enjoy a seamless transition into Visa. You will be the go-to problem solver, addressing any issues that arise to make sure new hires feel supported and are set up for success. You will own the delivery of onboarding in both your region and local site, and will play a key role in enhancing our global onboarding program. This role sits on the Global People Solutions team, reporting into the Global Onboarding Solutions Leader, with a dotted line into the Director of Employee Experience, who owns the design and strategy of Visa's Global Onboarding.

Experiential Responsibilities:

  • Deliver live onboarding sessions that bring to life our Employee Value Proposition to new hires in their region (20-50 new hires/week).
  • Answer Q&A during and after virtual sessions, serving as a welcoming, live point-of-contact.
  • Partner with Employee Experience and Visa University teams to keep session content up to date (e.g., Benefits enrollment processes).
  • Organize quarterly cultural integration events such as volunteering events, open forums to collect feedback and answer Q&A, and panel discussions like 'First Year @ Visa.'
  • On a quarterly basis, train volunteers to grow network of facilitators and tour guides.
  • Manage volunteers in the region to create office orientations, tour routes, sign-up processes to be a tour guide, offer tours regularly, and serve on local site committees as an onboarding coordinator.
  • Host Hiring Manager onboarding training sessions in partnership with Talent Management, Visa University, and Preboarding teams.
  • Collect feedback from new hires, facilitators, managers, and buddies to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of programs and suggest improvements.
  • Partner with peer Onboarding Leads in each region to ensure consistency of content and delivery across all Visa offices.

Operational Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Visa University to manage the scheduling of live orientation events for both new hires and facilitators.
  • Schedule regional and site events (send calendar invites and book conference rooms, as necessary), such as new hire volunteer events, benefits sessions, and site tours (create invite lists based on event criteria through new hire reports).
  • Send pre- and post-event communications/materials, ensuring new hires receive necessary resources in a timely manner, manage and upload weekly copies of presentations and recordings in the Onboarding Essentials Hub.
  • Coordinate facilitators (VU trainers, PAs, volunteers, local site tour guides, COE experts, etc.) to ensure they are prepared to deliver sessions, resulting in the on-time delivery of live sessions.
  • Manage content in the Start@Visa portal for the region to ensure accuracy and validity and collect and maintain office-specific content.
  • Collect and maintain Parking & First Day Logistics for each office in the region to be distributed to new hires before their first day.

  • Strong Collaboration:Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and collaborate with colleagues across multiple teams (e.g., Global Onboarding Solutions, Visa University, Global Benefits, People Systems, Social Impact, End User Support) and time zones.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and adapt to change priorities while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective Communicator: A natural ability to engage and inspire people, making our new hires feel welcomed and valued. With strong presentation skills, able to deliver information to large audiences both in person and over Teams.
  • Analytical Thinking:Robust analytical skills with the ability to use Excel to work with large sets of employee data.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Experience with Workday and ServiceNow.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas: VLOOKUP & Index Match).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting platforms like Microsoft Teams.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 87,600.00 to 127,050.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
