Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and/or education, and location. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.

SUMMARY

The Enterprise Business Continuity Manager's (EBCM) primary responsibility is to develop, enhance, and maintain the Bank's Business Continuity Program (The Program), which includes Contingency Planning, Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, and Incident Response testing.

The EBCM collaborates with business leaders to enhance the Business Continuity strategy toward Operational Resilience. The EBCM is responsible for coordinating enterprise resources and overseeing the recovery efforts of business function and systems during an emergency event or declared disaster. The EBCM is also responsible for facilitating Business Continuity activities, including incident response and business impact analyses, threat assessments, and disaster preparedness capabilities across the enterprise. The EBCM also acts as the chair of the senior level Business Continuity Steering Committee, which includes identifying strategic plan enhancements, recommendations, and overseeing the resiliency of the Bank's most critical applications and processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates with the Business Continuity Steering Committee as well as senior leadership to create, develop, enhance, and maintain the following:
    1. Crisis Management Plan
    2. Business Continuity Plan
    3. Incident Response Plan
    4. Disaster Recovery Plan
    5. Business Impact Analysis
    6. Threat Assessments
    7. Contingency Procedures
  • Coordinates, plans, and schedules business continuity activities throughout the year.
  • Coordinates with IT, business owners, and vendors to test and enhance recovery processes that ensure resumption of services within the stated RTO.
  • Trains and supports plan owners to maintain, test, and report on the effectiveness of their plans.
  • Partners with Information Technology to provide oversight for required recovery testing and ensure all disaster recovery testing is properly documented, including test scripts and test results.
  • Prepares and presents monthly reports on BCP activities, KPIs, KRIs, goals, plans, program execution, results, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Assesses Third Party Services' business continuity program and recovery capabilities to ensure compliance and adherence to the Bank's stated RTO.
  • Develops and enhances training and awareness for the program
  • Prepares executive and Board presentations providing an overview of the Program, accomplishments, risks, and the Bank's readiness.
  • Ensures adherence to Federal and State guidelines and regulations on Business Operations Resilience and Business Continuity.
  • Tests the emergency alert and notification communication system.
  • Complies with, and stays abreast of, all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
  • Provide, present, and promote the Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to senior management, public groups, and/or the Board of Directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and promotions to practical situations, interpret, and draw bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER & SOFTWARE SKILLS

  • Experience with GRC Platforms such as Archer, MetricStream, ServiceNow are a huge plus.
  • Expertise with common MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and use of SharePoint document repositories.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) and Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) certifications are desired but not required.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

  • Must possess essential knowledge of relevant state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills in a highly demanding and multi-tasking environment.

Salary Range:$127,475.00 To $156,157.00 Annually
