Solution Architect, D365 ERP

Composed of Chromalox, Durex Industries, Vulcanic, and Thermocoax businesses, Electrical Thermal Solutions (ETS), part of Spirax Group, creates electrical process heating and temperature management solutions, including industrial heaters and systems, heat tracing, and a range of component technologies.

At Chromalox, we build advanced thermal technologies for the world's most challenging industrial heating applications.

Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, we got our start with an innovative solution 100 years ago when a self-taught engineer invented the first metal-sheathed resistance heating element. It was this then-advanced thermal technology that launched an entire industry.

We excel in industries that have high expectations. We are acknowledged as experts at delivering solutions that exceed specifications, limit risk, and reduce operating costs.

Join us as we continue to provide solutions to our customers and the world!

  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to identify process gaps, automation opportunities, and transformation enablers.
  • Provide technical governance and design assurance during rollouts and major enhancement programs.
  • Participate actively in the Group-wide Design Authority, contributing to the definition, review, and approval of solution designs and ensuring architectural alignment across all business units.
  • Guide data integration, migration, and security strategies across the ERP landscape, including interaction with Azure services, Power Platform, and other enterprise systems.
  • Lead solution design reviews, support build decisions, and ensure architectural consistency across sites.
  • Create and maintain architecture documentation, reference models, and technical standards.
  • Build strong relationships with system integrators, external consultants, and key users to influence outcomes and ensure successful adoption.
  • Support data and analytics teams in understanding the D365 F&O data schema, ensuring accessibility and clarity of data for reporting, insights, and enterprise analytics use cases.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years' experience in ERP design and implementation, including at least 3 years with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Direct experience with at least one full-cycle D365 F&O deployment and 5+ large-scale ERP programs overall.
  • Broad functional expertise across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Manufacturing modules.
  • Proven ability to develop ERP solution blueprints and define architecture principles in a complex, global business.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Azure integration services, Power Platform, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including with non-technical business leaders.
  • Able to balance long-term strategy with short-term delivery demands, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a transformation context.
  • Experience in global manufacturing or industrial sectors is strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, with a strong preference for experience in regulated or compliance-driven industries (e.g. aerospace, nuclear, energy, or defense).
