Welcome to Value Stream - A team committed to keeping product moving through our Franklinton site on-time.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

  • Finite scheduling of all process steps with a department.

  • Ensure product flow is optimized regarding resources, shortest possible cycle-time, and minimizing variability of output.

  • Optimize production schedule to reduce bottlenecks and constraints.

  • Ensure production is running on-time. Make necessary adjustments and communications if production is behind.

  • Provide optimal flow of products between departments, functions, plants, and to customers.

  • Update data in SAP and scheduling tools.

  • Use and implement scheduling tools.

  • Create process orders, measure schedule compliance and campaign rates, reporting efficiency as required.

  • Align capacity utilization across site departments.

  • Coordinate scheduling with Planning, Warehouse, Tapping, and Shipping operations for optimum supply of products.

  • Maintain quality system, check paperwork, and follow up on essential transaction for accuracy in SAP, including inventory.

  • Measure efficiency and utilization of equipment as needed.

  • Monitor and control spending in specific accounts as assigned (i.e., scraps)

  • Support the NZNA Environmental Policy and EQS and assure that the environmental impact of changes to processes, equipment, process and laboratory materials is assessed prior to implementation.

  • Support NZNA externally recognized standards (FSSC22001, ISO, Kosher, Halal, etc.)

  • Ensure adherence to all NZNA Employee Relations Policies.

  • Support Site Excellence performance board and problem solving.

  • Participate in audits and/or meetings regarding raw materials/batch paperwork.

To succeed you must hold:

  • High school or equivalent with good arithmetic skills.

  • Minimum of five years' experience with production at NZ.

  • Ability to use computers and software efficiently:MS Outlook, MS Word,Excel, SAP and BW, LIMS, SATT, PIM, APO/PPDS and other relevant scheduling tools, and other production related software.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to cooperate between departments and functions.

  • Previous experience with scheduling/SAP of production experience preferred.

  • Physical ability and visual acuity to move about plant site, lifting required as needed, climbing ladders, or entering tanks required.

Location: Franklinton, North Carolina

Expected salary range: $60,000-$70,000
