Responsibilities
- Designing, enhancing, and implementing the curriculum development process within the Distance Learning Branch.
- Developing training materials using instructional systems design methodology.
- Working independently or with agency subject matter experts to translate ideas and concepts into eLearning.
- Ensuring quality and consistency in the development process.
- Utilizing the ADDIE-R model for curriculum development which includes Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation, and Review.
- Supporting individual learning needs through eLearning technologies and web-based content.
- Performing quality control procedures for eLearning productions.
- Assisting in the production of a Standard Operating Procedure for future eLearning products.
Education
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) with at least 24 semester hours in relevant course work including study in areas such as learning theory, instructional design practices, educational evaluation, instructional product development, and computers in education and training.
Experience
Five or more years of specialized experience in designing and developing curriculum content, training materials, and teaching aids, with a focus on ISD and eLearning.
- Proficiency in tools like Captivate, Adobe Presenter, and Java.
- Experience using Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and Adobe Connect for delivering training.
