Scope of Work:

Develop prospects and call on existing customers for WPI's complete construction machinery product lines. Division product lines (i.e. Komatsu) and other construction product lines, responsible to maintain existing accounts and develop new accounts. Call on assigned accounts in all locations in the region.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have a minimum of 2 year(s) previous sales experience and a minimum of 3 year's experience in sales of heavy construction machinery.

High School Diploma, or equivalent, and Bachelor's Degree in applied discipline preferred.

Requirements: Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (SKA's)

Must have a working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its' objectives.

Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company.

Must conform to policies and procedures set forth by the company.

Must have a current driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Must be computer literate and proficient in a Windows environment (MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook).

Must have dependable transportation.

Must be dependable and able to work independently.

Must maintain good client relations and a professional appearance.

Must have the ability to travel and stay overnight.

Must protect the company assets and interest.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Service assigned accounts for sales development.

Secondary Job Responsibilities:

Promote good welfare among the company and its' divisions.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Some adjustments to working hours may apply.

Typically indoor and outdoors.
