Salary range:
Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation depending on specialty can range from $306,000 - $315,000. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health science compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Application Window Open date: May 30, 2025 Next review date: Wednesday, Jul 30, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, May 29, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The University of California, Irvine, Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism, is searching for a full-time faculty member at any rank in the area of Endocrinology. The successful candidate will have clinical responsibilities including outpatient clinic and inpatient consultation. Clinic responsibilities will mainly be at our outreach location(s) and inpatient work at our Orange, Irvine medical center campuses or possible other UCI community locations. The selected candidates will deliver high-quality training and teaching, provide clinical care to patients, and/or engage in research within the Division. Candidates who can move forward the educational, innovation and research goals of the division are invited to apply. Criteria for the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series: The incumbent will be expected to teach fellows, residents, and medical students; provide patient care; contribute to scholarly activities; and provide public and University service. Academic rank, series, and compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A generous package of retirement benefits is included when employed by the University of California.
