978 GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE: Provide administrative support services for sales office executives and sales personnel. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION: * General office administrative support to sales personnel, which may include typing, answering phones, record keeping, making travel arrangements, expense report execution, mail handling, copying, filing, roster development, etc.
* Develop an in depth understanding of DFV Fresh Pack product lines, codes, and order entry system.
* Send daily price sheet out and maintain system pricing in the main frame.
* Assist with administrative functions of sales allowances, short pays, receivables, and entering rejections reports.
* Run reports as needed
* Handle all meeting requests large or small, which may include travel arrangements, hotel accommodations. meeting room reservations, etc.
* Become familiar with Fresh Pack customer base and internal sales staff.
* New employee hire set up for sales department.
* Customer field tour scheduling.
* Supply, sales premium ordering and equipment upkeep.
* Performs other duties as assigned or requested. Required Skills
JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: * 2-3 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
* Strong PC and Mainframe, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point and/or similar BI platform systems knowledge.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to stay focused on accuracy and detail in a fast-paced environment.
* Self-motivated and able to perform in a high-pressure environment. Must be able to foster an environment of teamwork and Leadership within the sales team in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to manage long-distance professional relationships, and to accept constructive criticism.
* Knowledge of GAAP is helpful. Strong computer, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
* High attention to details and accuracy. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Needs to be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time
* Must be able to climb a ladder, stand and or crouch
* Needs to be able to lift 25 pounds WORK HOUR & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to travel, work overtime and weekends based on need and approval Required Experience
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: * Bachelor's degree preferred
* Any certifications that support varying levels of competence in Excel, Word or Power Point PAY RATE:
