Learning & Development Analytics Manager

Overview:

Responsible for enabling data-driven decision-making across the Learning and Development (L&D) and enterprise function. Leads the gathering, analysis, and reporting of learning program performance and business impact, while also overseeing the optimization of learning technologies, including the Learning Management System (LMS). Plays a critical part in measuring the impact, effectiveness, and ROI of learning programs while identifying trends and opportunities for continuous improvement. Ensures data alignment, integrity, and insights that support a consistent and integrated learning experience across the organization. Manages the firm's resources by aligning strategic projects with present and future firm needs with proficiency, fluency and aptitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Designs and delivers actionable dashboards and reports to measure training outcomes, learner engagement, and business impact
  • Analyzes complex data sets from LMS and other learning platforms to identify patterns, gaps, and opportunities
  • Translates complex data into actionable insights that inform talent strategies
  • Collaborates with instructional designers, program managers, and business stakeholders to define and track success metrics for L&D initiatives
  • Leads the development of learning data strategies that align with organizational goals and talent development priorities
  • Acts as a consultant to internal teams on the use of data and learning technology to support strategic decision-making
  • Works cross-functionally with teams such as HR, Practice Technology, Innovation, and Global Knowledge Services that contribute to or maintain systems containing training content or training-related data
  • Administers and optimizes the LMS, including reporting, user experience enhancements, and system integrations
  • Ensures data integrity, consistency, and compliance across all learning systems
  • Monitors emerging analytics and learning tech trends to propose innovative solutions
  • Travel may be required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Education, HR, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably within L&D or HR
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Strong experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Workday Learning, Cornerstone, Saba)
  • Experience implementing Lean Process Improvement methodologies
  • Experience leveraging data and analytics to influence outcomes and measure the impact of development initiatives
  • Proven ability to evaluate training initiatives and identify areas for improvement
  • Proven ability to work effectively with subject matter experts, project leads, executive leadership, and vendors
  • Strong competencies in developing and maintaining effective relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and present strategic recommendations to leadership
