Responsibilities

Newport Healthcare is on the lookout for a passionate and dynamic Clinical Professional to join our team! What You'll Do:
  • Client Champion: Carry a caseload of amazing clients and families, and lead engaging therapy groups that inspire growth and healing!
  • Mentor Extraordinaire: Provide training, support, and supervision to our talented clinicians and milieu staff. Share your wisdom and help others shine!
  • Interim Clinical Director: Step into the spotlight as our Interim Clinical Director when needed. Show us your leadership skills and guide our team to success!
  • Assessment Wizard: Conduct face-to-face clinical and risk assessments for admissions. Develop initial safety plans that keep our clients on the right track!
  • Quality Control Guru: Perform peer reviews and weekly audits of medical records to ensure top-notch clinical documentation. Help us maintain our gold standard!
  • Crisis Avenger: Be the go-to person for clients and families in crisis. Your intervention skills will save the day!
  • Treatment Coordinator: Work with our fantastic treatment team to coordinate care and discharge planning. Together, we'll create a seamless experience for our clients!
  • Policy Pioneer: Help implement policies and procedures, ensuring we're always in compliance with state licensing and accreditation. Keep us on the right path!
  • Communication Connoisseur: Facilitate effective inter-departmental communication and review staff reports for treatment implications. Your insights will make a difference!
  • Community Ambassador: Conduct facility tours and represent Newport Healthcare at company-sponsored and community events. Show the world what we're all about!

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field required from an accredited or state approved graduate school. Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Licensed as a Marriage Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Psychologist is required in the state in which you are applying.
  • Minimum three years' experience working with adolescents and families
  • Training or experience in trauma-informed treatment preferred.
  • Willingness to be trained in Attachment Based Family Therapy required.
