Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Safety * Under direct supervision, learns to safely operate machines and equipment * Developing safe behaviors * Wears PPE as required

* Quality * Under direct supervision, Performs quality checks of all products as outlined in departmental quality control on inspection procedures and be able to recognize product outside the specified tolerance * Under direct supervision, Responsible for completing device history record (DHR), label verification, and daily checklist paperwork * Completes required training on time

* Continuous Improvement * Completes required training on time * Willingness to identify continuous improvement opportunities
|
* Production * Under direct supervision, develop the capability to safely perform the following operator duties on one work center: * Load a parent roll on unwinds * Webbing machine * Make tension adjustments * Shimming and adjusting cutting equipment * Set-ups * Complete changeovers * Properly pack products off the line * Perform operator preventative maintenance tasks * Perform other job duties as required

Education & Experience
|
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred;

* Preferred to have experience in manufacturing or production related fields
