APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
POSITION SPECIFICS The Penn State Office of Physical Plant (OPP), the University's central facilities division, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Communications Specialist to lead the development of high-quality content and strategic communications for diverse internal and external audiences. This pivotal role involves shaping key messages and producing impactful communication deliverables on a wide range of facilities-related topics, including major campus construction and renovation projects, energy savings initiatives, University operations (e.g., groundskeeping, maintenance, custodial), safety, and more. The successful candidate will be a highly organized and collaborative self-starter with exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills, capable of managing multiple high-priority assignments, meeting tight deadlines, and adapting to evolving priorities. This is a full-time position and may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The Marketing and Communications team is supportive of flexible work arrangements when aligned with the ability to meet the needs of the unit and the essential duties of the position.
