Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

We are seeking a well-rounded professional with expertise in various surgical specialties. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to different surgical procedures.

• Employment Type: 37.5 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Interview Process: Manager interview required
• Certifications: NBSTSA or NCCT required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Weekend Requirement: One weekend per month if needed
• On-Call Requirement: Twice monthly, from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM; must arrive within 30 minutes of being called
• Experience: 2 years of current acute care OR experience in a similar size facility (this hospital has 597 beds) required
• Specialty Experience: Robotic and ENT experience; ortho vascular, general thoracic neuro experience needed
• Transplant Experience: Must be familiar with kidney transplants. This hospital performs the state's largest number of kidney transplants for dialysis-dependent and diabetic patients.
• Electronic Health Records: Experience with EPIC preferred
• Attire: Scrubs provided
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
