Overview
OSI Systems and its subsidiaries are a vertically integrated provider of specialized electronic systems and for components that meet the critical needs in the homeland security, healthcare, defense, and aerospace industries. OSI Systems is seeking a Sustanability Manager who will be responsible for developing and communicating the Company's sustainability strategy, promoting stakeholder engagement, collecting and analyzing sustainability data and metrics, facilitating the Company's sustainability reporting, and promoting sustainability innovation, education and leadership across the organization. Selected candidate will create and communicate a clear and coherent sustainability strategy for the corporation in alignment with the corporation's overall business objectives, as well as with relevant standards, frameworks and regulations, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). They will conduct sustainability assessments, identify material issues, set goals and targets, and develop action plans and indicators. This individual will engage with various internal and external stakeholders, such as employees, customers, suppliers, investors, regulators, NGOs and communities. They will prepare and publish regular and transparent sustainability reports that disclose the corporation's sustainability impacts, risks and opportunities. They will also collect, analyze and verify data and information from various sources, and present them in a clear, concise and consistent manner. They may respond to external requests and surveys from rating agencies, media or other stakeholders. The successful candidate will monitor and evaluate the outcomes and impacts of sustainability innovation projects, and share best practices and lessons learned. Additionally, they will design and deliver training programs, workshops and events that raise awareness, build knowledge and develop skills on sustainability topics. Responsibilities
