SENIOR PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

THE ROLE:

As a Senior Product Development engineer, you will collaborate with various Product Development Groups. This individual serves as a critical technical point of contact to the business, design, platform validation and product engineering teams. THE PERSON:

A successful candidate is one who can drive decisions independently, has accountability for accuracy, reliability and completeness of assignment results critical to the project's success.This role allows the opportunity to influence technical decisions that have a significant impact on multiple products or the product line.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with design, validation, and architecture teams for content coverage, test pattern development, validation, and debugging
• Develop new program infrastructure incorporating latest Best-Known methods
• Solves sophisticated, novel, and non-recurring problems; initiates significant changes to existing processes/ methods and leads development and implementation
• Identify and plan product improvement activities to reduce cost, improve yield and resolve quality issues

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience with being responsible for projects or processes of significant technical importance and for results that cross engineering project areas
• Experience with NPI server products, especially EPYC server designs
• Proficient in Linux, Unix, or Windows OS
• Statistical analysis experience and ability to provide in depth analysis of large datasets

• Knowledge of computer architecture is preferred

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's s in computer engineering or computer science or electrical engineering, or related professional experience
