Position Summary

The Residency Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Transition to Practice Program is an incredible opportunity for new graduate LPNs or experienced LPNs wishing to transition to hospital or/a new specialty area. This program will support you in developing dynamic nursing practice with competence, autonomy, and connection to purpose.

Our Resident LPNs receive a combination of classroom instruction and clinical hours with preceptors who are experts in the fields, advancing both their education and knowledge along with their material skills in providing quality patient care and services.

Responsibilities:
* You will learn to provide age-appropriate care utilizing nursing education and knowledge of normal states of growth, development, and aging
* You will learn to deliver and execute upon daily routine care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups utilizing your strong interpersonal skills
* You will learn to assist the Registered Nurse or care team in implementing the nursing process

Requirements:
* Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
* Current Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS)
* License to pass medications may be required
* Current BLS certification
* Successful completion of appropriate competencies for assigned specialty (GSOC/PSOC)

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $27.53 - $45.49 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
